This webinar draws on doctoral research examining whether generational differences truly exist in occupational resilience and turnover intentions in today’s workforce, and how these two factors are related. The research challenges common assumptions about generational divides, revealing that differences between generations may be far less significant than often believed. What does emerge clearly, however, is a strong negative correlation between resilience and turnover intentions: as employee resilience increases, the desire to leave an organization decreases. Participants will explore why resilience is not an innate trait, but a practical skillset that can be learned, developed, and strengthened over time. The session highlights why organizations looking to improve retention should rethink traditional approaches and place greater emphasis on resilience training, rather than relying primarily on extrinsic incentives such as bonuses or gift cards. Attendees will leave with evidence-based insights into how resilience development can play a critical role in building a more stable, engaged, and committed workforce.

With more than a decade of experience across the justice system and in community-focused coaching, she designs programs that enhance both individual and organizational well-being. She is certified in Resilience First Aid (RFA) and High Adversity Resilience Training (HART), and is known for translating research into practical, actionable workforce strategies.
