Shane Redelinghuys is a molecular biologist by training and completed his Ph.D. at The University of Pretoria. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at The University of the Witwatersrand, where his research focuses on the interplay between the human immune system and infectious diseases. He is passionate about science and the effective communication thereof. He is also a private consultant at Finchwell Consultancy, where he edits academic transcripts and assists other researchers with study design and protocol development.
