Tracy A. Daniels is a clinical psychologist doctoral intern at a private counseling center in Safety Harbor FL. Tracy also is CEO/Founder of Mental Help Health For You, a nonprofit that addresses the needs of individuals struggling in their mental health or experiencing mental illness. Tracy assess individuals for admission or referrals into behavioral health facilities, fit for duty evaluations with law enforcement or fire EMS, complete interpretive summaries which includes assessments for each client, identify and report appropriate barriers in order to promote successful transition to the least restrictive environment as appropriate for clients, develop a plan of care based on the results of the initial assessment and the interpretive summaries, actively participate in interdisciplinary planning process, refer clients to programs and/or appropriate community services based on identified needs that assure continuity of care through the transition planning process, provide effective crisis intervention that responds to the critical needs of individuals served, provide clinical services that are consistent with diagnosis and offer flexibility in regards to the clinical need of the client. Tracy is certified in working with Critical Incident Stress Debrief (CISD) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and was ask to assist with the Marjory Spellman High school shooting, Pulse Night Club, and provided assistance in the pan handle during hurricane Michael.
As clinical psychologist doctoral intern Tracy conduct prevention trainings such as Mental Health First Aid certification trainings, Mental Health First Aid 101, parenting skills, domestic violence, sexual assault, diversity, stress management, conflict resolution, worry and happiness, communication made easy, depression and dementia, and motivational interviewing. Tracy is a very sought after speaker and educator in the Tampa Bay and St Petersburg’s area.
