Brett is Zimbabwean by birth, but South African at heart. He attended schools in South Africa and Zimbabwe and graduated with Cambridge A levels in biology, chemistry, and maths from Falcon College. He has three economics degrees, including a master’s from Rhodes University. He currently works as an economist in South Africa and serves as treasurer on the Eastern Cape Golden Key Alumni committee.
