Marjorie is a coach and non-executive director and passionate about personal growth. Her experience includes: Conference speaking on diversity and inclusion Coaching leaders on self-leadership. Working with organisations to embrace the benefits of cognitive diversity. Coaching ethnic minority professionals on self-leadership in the corporate environment. She has often been a minority in the organisations she has worked within and the leadership teams she has served on. She is Past President of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and was the first IFoA president to be based outside the UK, the third female and the first person of colour. She was the founding Executive Director of the African Leadership University’s School of Insurance, an industry driven initiative to deepen insurance talent on the African continent.
